What is Nexcast?

Our multi-stream relay. One OBS target, several platforms. No second encoder, no chat SaaS bundled into the plan price.

Is the product called Restream?

No. The brand is Nexcast. The URL is cast.nexus-city.net. Restream is a different company.

Which plans exist?

Relay (1 destination, EUR 4.99), Broadcast (3 destinations, EUR 9.99), Network (10 destinations plus custom RTMP, EUR 22.99), monthly net. Checkout shows the total.

Do I get donations if I only stream externally?

Yes. Nexus Live is not required. With an active plan or connected destinations you get a public donate page (Stripe). The amount goes to you, Nexus City keeps the usual platform share. Copy the link in the dashboard, for example for a Twitch panel.

Does my stream automatically appear on Nexus Live?

No. Default is outbound. The watch page needs a staff unlock. The request lives in the dashboard. Donations still work.

Which key does OBS get?

Only the Nexcast key. Twitch, YouTube and Kick keys belong in the destination cards.

Can I regenerate the stream key?

Yes, in the dashboard. The old key is dead afterwards. OBS must use the new one or the push goes nowhere.

What counts against the limit?

Active destinations, including custom RTMP. Saved keys without Active checked do not count.

Does Streamlabs or StreamElements work?

If the software supports custom RTMP: same server, same Nexcast key as in OBS. Overlays stay in your encoder, Nexcast only distributes the feed.

Why is YouTube delayed?

Studio often shows live only after one to three minutes. Check the key, do not put the full YouTube server into OBS.

How do I cancel?

Through Stripe, like shop subscriptions. After the period ends the limit falls to no plan. Saved keys remain, the push stops.

Is soft open finished?

No. Ingest, dashboard and Stripe are up. Stability, more destinations and edges (Kick URL variants, events) ship next. If something breaks: Discord ticket.

Who can see my stream keys?

You in the dashboard, the relay server for the push, staff only as far as support needs. Do not paste keys in chat. After a leak: rotate on the platform and on Nexcast.
